Crash and A Beautiful Mind

Yesterday I watched Crash and A Beautiful Mind which won Best Picture in 2006 (Crash) and 2002 (A Beautiful Mind)

I HATED this movie. They used the F- word too many times. Yes I know that this movie is rated R and I should expect this but to me it seemed liked every other word coming out of the actors mouths was the F- word. I still don't understand what this movie was about. To me it felt that the film just about race and how we are all racist in one way or another. I will never watch this movie again and I will not recommend this movie to anyone to watch.

When this movie won people were sooo upset and mad. Everyone believed that Brokeback Mountain would win Best Picture. I even thought Brokeback Mountain was going to win and I was even surprised that Crash won.

I thought this movie was quite interesting but I also thought it was kind of boring at some places. I was reading the trivia about this movie and I thought it was interesting that the film makers shot this film in sequence so to help Russell Crowe develop the progress of the character's schizophrenia. I'm still up in the air if I will watch this movie again. I would recommend this film to anyone who wants to watch this film.
